Fortissimo – the European funded project enabling manufacturing SMEs to benefit from HPC cloud based simulations – has started July 1st its third set of experiments! 11 new experiments in areas like automotive, marine industry, environmental engineering and life science have been added to complete the total set of 53 experiments undertaken during the Fortissimo project.Read more..
I4MS 2015 will explore the progress achieved by the I4MS initiative and the impact participation has had on SMEs. At I4MS 2015 participating SMEs will present their experiences, results achieved and impact made. They will explain how they have benefited and what the adaption of innovative ICT has meant for their business. European support does not just exist at EU level.Read more..
The ICT Innovation for Manufacturing SMEs (I4MS) initiative, which was launched by the European Commission in 2013, has successfully completed its second year. We would therefore like to invite you to learn about what has been achieved and the impact on participating SMEs. People from across Europe, spanning different sectors and technologies, are expected to attend, including representatives from industry, SMEs, institutions and the European Commission.Read more..
LASHARE is looking for experts who are prepared to evaluate the proposals from the open call. LASHARE requires the participation of new partners to carry out certain tasks within the project. LASHARE has a vacancy in its consortium for partners established in an EU Member State or FP7 Associated State. Read more..
36 proposals have been submitted during the Open Call. From January on up to 7 new experiments will join the project. Out of the 88 different entities, 50 of them report prior experience within EC projects – conversely this means that 38 entities (more than 43%) are new to EC projects. The 36 proposals comprise 88 potentially new partners that are not yet part of CloudFlow (for a more detailed analysis see below). Those 88 potentially new partners are coming from 17 different European countries. Read more..
The European Robotics Challenges (EuRoC) initiative is organized and supervised by the leading robotic companies and research institutions in Europe. EuRoC aims at bringing new innovative solutions to the European robotics industry to attain and keep global leadership in robotics products and services. LASHARE brought together laser people from the tenth AIMEN Laser Week and its own 38 partners. In the workshop on the 25th of September, experts from industrial sectors and innovative SME's discussed issues on automation and standardisation that are related to laser-based equipment. LASHARE aims to accelerate the increase in technology readiness by an approach which is called Laser-based Equipment Assessment (LEA). Read more..
I4MS has launched the Brokerage Area, which is aimed to share your knowledge and experience, and to interact with other stakeholders of innovation projects. I4MS initiative has developed the Brokerage Area with the objective of bringing together both relevant actors from the use and supply side, SME users and suppliers so that open calls or the relevant information can be published, trying to identify the projects’ and SME’s needs and requirements and encouraging synergies and complementary research actions between them.
